Ground question

how many of u think its a good idea to drill a hole through floor board an ground to chassis for back batteries..

OR

run ground directly from front battery to back batteries for more solid connection?

I would ground to the frame.. if you have a frame.. if not you will need multiple runs of negative from the alt

thats a first ive never heard of running them from alternator..

from front neg to back neg yes but not from alt ..hmm

I see no issues with that,as long as you find some good solid steel,and prep it well..It will save you some expense as well with the price of wiring also.with the Kinetick 600 that I am yet to put in will be done as such

grounding on the alt casing is the best way to ground it but is alot more difficult and isnt necessary running to the front bat is fine let the big three take car of linking the alt/engine block and the batt/neg.

you can ground in the rear though and it will not hurt as long as it is a good ground but i personally run a negative run back to the front

yea right now i have a bad ground just nailed into the seat bracket in the back im gonna run from front to back to keep the connection strong..

right now when i step on the battery i drop .2 volts lol

Ill be running the shorter of the two..to the frame first at the rear:santa: Just need a solid grounding point that is all that is needed

if it's a unibody it doesn't have a frame to ground to.. I do both helped considerbly
