Here's a good money maker - buy yourself a used hot dog cart. Many of you may laugh, but my brother-in-law owns one and makes enough in the summer to keep him over the winter months. He even has someone to work it for him.

I guess it depends on where you are. He pays nothing to be on the street but pays a fair bit for setting up at events. He also makes a fair bit at these events - more than enough to cover the costs. He sets himself up next to the taxation building daily - right across the street from the law courts. Catches both the suits and the poor schmucks getting out of court...

Considering our summers are quite short, I think he's doing quite well for himself..
