$500 for a small room is some bullshiiiiit.
I wouldnt mind spending $700 a month for a small apartment. I would rent it out with someone and split the costs.

Anyways montgomery county is incredibly expensive unless you land a nice *** job, or your parents fork out that rent $

Yeah in a decent area its about 1000-1100 just for RENT for a 1 bedroom. Its ****ing crazy oh well though thats life. Ill move somewhere else once I get older...

i dont give a **** if i was living in my car i wouldnt sell my system either.

let me see, sell my system so that i can have a few hundred bucks, yet have no job which means no income, which means i need a cosigner for an apartment, but cant get one cause no one will do it....

or keep the system, since i cant get an apartment anyways hmmm, thats a tough one.

Well I was waiting to get the position available at tweeter but it took alot longer than I thought so thats why I didnt have a job for the 2 months. I had money just not alot of it and when I didnt have a home anymore it was completely random and I wasnt going to go and waste money on a place just to keep my head at night so I crashed with a couple friends here and there until I found a good place I was willing to pay to stay at.

SO yes **** selling my system and getting like 80% what I paid for it and ill stay in my car for a couple of hours. all in end it worked out just fine.

...$500 is cheap around here. Nowadays even the smallest apartments go for at LEAST $700/mo. Lucky bastard.

Tis true around here as well. Just picked up an apartment for the next year at $750/mo. Cheapest I could find that was a reasonable size and nice enough to call home while in med school....funny paying that much though with no income, hmm.

Ya, rent down there sucks..Frederick is climbing up there, I was looking at apartments around here and unless I'd want to get some shitty *** place down on 40 (cheapest for like 6-700) I'd be lookin to pay $1000+ a month.

Nah, i'm going to be a sophomore next year..it would be up at Frostburg, but i'm not going back to that shithole and I didn't get into UMD till the spring, so I'm just chillin at my parents house and goin to FCC/working/saving over the fall. I was going to find an apartment with a couple friends but I figure it'd be better to save more these couple months so I can find a better place at umd when I'm there
