I have a 2004.5 vw gli and I thoght I had it bad. #1, I can't find a high current alternator, #2, I have to take the bumper off to change the headlights ( I've changed the headlights 3 times now due to personal preference and just getting board with what I have),

BUT, nothing compared to what I just read. Sorry about your luck with your Audi, they are sexy though!

you couldnt image what you need to do to change the AC compressor on that car....HAH!!! takes a week.

Ya, i've swapped engines in mk2 gti's in less time than this alty took me.
