My much beloved late Great Dane, towards the end of her tenure in our family, exhibited issues very much the same as what you've described. Every now and again she'd wake up from a nap and one or both of her back legs would act as if it wasn't accepting input from her brain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Our vet prescribed Rimadyl to her. It would clear up pretty quickly but once she was off the meds for awhile the symptoms would return.
Ask your vet if that (this particular medication) may be applicable to the problems your dog is experiencing.
Good luck getting it sorted out.
Happened to my cat too, he lived for awhile but he couldn't walk very well and no longer recognized any of us so we put him down. Saddest shit ever. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gifThat sucks, I hate it when animals start get hurt they always seem so helpless.
My cat had to be put down on Sunday. We woke up and found her on her back on the staircase landing. He legs were moving a mile a minute and she couldnt stop them. She was completely unresponsive as if she was unconcious, we dont know how long she had been like that. Vet determined it was either a seizure or a stroke, I assumed it was a stroke because of the loss of nerves, she was 14 quite a long life for a kitty.
Yeah I wasnt a happy camper myself, I love animalsHappened to my cat too, he lived for awhile but he couldn't walk very well and no longer recognized any of us so we put him down. Saddest shit ever. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
Keep it on a schedule.got a question, how do you make a dog stop pee-ing in the house, and go out for walks? cuz mine is stubborn.
