I failed at a sparkler bomb.Any tips?

I would have preffered 4 just for insurance. I called my buddy and I got a price on a pallet of sparklers, 4 5" Mortars and price per grenade.
in case I didn't state this here earlier;

My buddy owns a fireworks stand on an indian reservation called Pyros'R'Us....Known each other forever, so he hooks me at @ cost. I need to purchase some PVC to launch the 5's off....Only trouble is, I really don't want to get caught with them since they're class B fireworks and only Pyrotechnicians are legally allowed to ignite them.

I do consider myself a pyrotechnician, minus the paperwork....so I guess all is good?

Anyone know if morning glorys work? I just tried to go get some magnesium sparklers but the metal ones had none so I figured Id see what happens with the morning glorys.

N00b? Dip it in cement if you want to spend the time....Packaging tape has never done it proper for me anyway. With electrical tape I can make it expand and pull the bundle tighter.
