I failed at a sparkler bomb.Any tips?

i figured it was not enough tape..
just how many sparklers do you need for a good bomb?

As many as u can afford, get em tighter for an explosion. Or leave one end open for a god **** missile lol.

Yeah, the cops are pretty dense too this time of year so you can "safely" set off fireworks for about 6-7 minutes, run and clean it all up, and go back inside for about an hour. then repeat.

Crushing em and putting them in a container takes lots of time, and needs to be packed in there(maybe get cotjones for the packing).

Could just tape them together extremely tight with lots o' tape also.

This one was always a childhood favorite....You'd take bleach and gun powder ..... add a little tide for texture then mix it together till you made a paste sorta like tooth paste in density...you'd mix it to you had about a golf ball size lump....then you'd carefully cut the edge out of a light bulb above the socket....genty pack the paste around the center not breaking the filament of course...then you'd ease the glass back down...epoxy around the edges and screw it back into a lamp socket.....as soon as the switch is flipped...you have tiny glass shards...and pieces of the burning mixture flying every where...... if it hits you it feels like melting plastic burning you...not to mention the neat flash it makes as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

My small one from yesterday which contained about 40 sparklers wrapped up real good....today it'll be closer to 500 with 3 rolls of electrical tape and 1 roll of duct tape.

If someone wants to see pics of the sparkler bomb and what 40 sparklers can do to some older railroad ties, lemme know and I'll post em. Im takin' another vid today of the bigger one and putting a recycling bin over it.

lol deff. I'm in the middle of tweakerville so I don't have anyone to watch it blow up with me. A vid is necessary. If I can find a dead animal on the side of the tracks, I may sacrifice it as well.

You can always make an astronaut out of a frog or a lizard by taping it to one f those big bottle rockets and sending it to space...it would be cool if you could rig it up with a parachute to watch it float back down...lol Wouldn't it be great if they made bottle rockets big enough for cats.....

lmfao, that'd be pretty cool, but I wouldn't subject any live animal to that. A dead animal body though is a whole 'nother story. My neighbor lady thought the 40 sparklers were loud, then tried gloating "we're gonna show you up tomorrow"....smh, so Im gonna have to drop $40 on sparklers....I really want to throw it under their car and say, "Who got showed up *****???" Electrical and duct tape. I use electrical tape all along the outside. For the top I use duct tape and poke holes in pieces and slide it over the sparkler I have sticking out for the fuse. Then I just proceed to wrap more electrical tape over it securing the duct tape then do the process all over again. When I'm close to done, I put electrical tape over the top too. I basically just "criss cross" it. You want the sparkler bomb **** near hard as a rock.
