Here in Idaho out in the country we can get away with almost anything.

It's really sweet when you have a whole bundle of the classic firecrackers (blackcats?) and light the whole thing. Better yet tie about 3 or 4 bundles in together, then bury in the dirt. That shit is fun, loud, and very entertaining. Gonna havta go buy some firecrackers today and do this.

success! first one failed because the sparkler i pulled out to light got bent and the powder crumbled off.... i was more careful with the second....

I might have to give this a shot tonight. Since here in OR sparklers are like the best we can get, anything that goes over 6ft in the air is illegal here.

I would have preffered 4 just for insurance. I called my buddy and I got a price on a pallet of sparklers, 4 5" Mortars and price per grenade.

in case I didn't state this here earlier;

My buddy owns a fireworks stand on an indian reservation called Pyros'R'Us....Known each other forever, so he hooks me at @ cost. I need to purchase some PVC to launch the 5's off....Only trouble is, I really don't want to get caught with them since they're class B fireworks and only Pyrotechnicians are legally allowed to ignite them.

I do consider myself a pyrotechnician, minus the paperwork....so I guess all is good?
