I dunno what to do....

well ill be the odd ball in the bunch

first off i think u guys should know that i am a christian which u must know to understand my reasoning

my grandmother just passed away about 4 months ago.. she was in teh hospital and went through some of the problems that ur relative wen through. i went and saw her in the hospital when she was still awake... she then fell into a deep "sleep" and wouldnt hardly wake up at all.. i said my goodbye to her when she was in the hospital and made paece with the fact that she was goign to die.. i firmly believe that she was no longer with us after she went into her "sleep"

now i have a very nice departing memory of my grandmother and i dont remember her as laying there asleep, but as she truely was

take that for waht it is worth man...

Im christian as well as was my grandfather so I know hes going to heaven.(Please no religous flaming this isnt the place) The thing is when I see him he wont be there totally. he wont know whats going on since hes so drugged up and everything. Ill be there for the funeral but I dont know if I am emotionaly strong enough to see him during this time.
just man up and go.

think of it this way, wouldn't you want him there if it was you?

emotions will be gone next day homie. who gives a **** if you cry......youll get over it. You know what you wont get over??? Not seeing him again before he passes away. Go.

having lost my mom to cancer 4 years ago I know all too well about this shit...

1) no one survives stage 4 cancer,

stage 4 means your time is up ,your lucky to grab a few years even with stage 3

2) if the Dr says a month w stage 4,good chances it will be less than that time frame

This will not be your last time dealing with cancer either,as you get older people start dropping like flys - as soon as I turned mid 30s quite a few people I knew in ther 50s were dropping off from cancer,sad-its a ***** of an illness and we still dont know enough to save people from it.....

go see the man

he may not know whats going on.....but you do. to have the piece of mind that you went and saw him, alone is enough to go see him. You may not think he knows whats going on, but I bet you that wherever he ends up, you say your christian...so your belief is heaven.....that hes gunna look down at the time he passed and the hours before and see each and every person that was there.

Im not a religious person, used to be...and this is how it goes.
