this what u do offer to fix it for him should be few bucks. get it fixed throw him 100 bucks and your good. u need to find a day were your off and he can let u fix it up for him thats it call it a day.

Dood lives 75 miles away so thats probably not going to happen.

I'd have no problems pointing out the well aged rust in all the dents that I didn't make. I'm still curious how the big bash in the doods windshield got there, looks like it took a bowling ball or something.

I screwed up on my kbb value, redid it and the car in excellent shape is worth 2k bucks. So they could claim all the pre-existing stuff on the vehicle and it still wouldn't matter.

I would not be suprised if value wise I just totaled the kids car

There is no way that kid is going to care about that car. Hell, he probably doesn't even remember the last oil change or what his tire pressure is.

I filed a claim. Told the kid to run it by an autobody shop if he wants to tomorrow or just tell me what the damage is worth to him and I might just take care of him in cash. I thought he woulda jumped on that right away but he sure didn't.

ya try to give him a couple hundred i know if that was my car i would not care about fixing it and pocket the cash. mabye 10 bucks for a corner light at a junk yard and pocket the rest.

Naw, he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I would flip the kid a few hundred with no worries to avoid a claim on my insurance.
