Didnt this problem start when you swapped out the Alpine amp for the AQ?

Sure did. So I'm thinking something could be wrong with the amp or it's not getting enough power or something. I have no idea.

I've checked everything over and over. The amp is getting power, no red light, just a green one. Could it be cuz I don't have a big enough fuse in my fuse thingy?? I don't know what it's called. Sorry for being an idiot. The fuse is a 30a. I'm jsut taking wild guesses. I really don't know : (

why don't you take out the aq amp and hook up your old alpine amp to see if its the aq amp or your wiring.

yup try your other amp. output on the amp might be blown.

If your wire is only fused for 30a then thats your problem right there. What gauge wire do you have? That aq amp pulls 100+a im sure and prolly blew that fuse. That would be the first thing i would check. You may have to upgrade you wiring.

im thinking in your situation its your install... who did it? I would upgrade that fuse and i bet you probably running like 8ga power wire.. Thats not your prob but i think you should look into that.. what type of enclosure is your sub in?? also how were the gains set when your AQ was installed??

You have it backwards it should be set on master not slave.

Well when I first got the car it already had power wires ran and it's 4g. My sub is in a ported enclosure and there is NO sound from it at all. the fuse up front by my battery is a 60a. Is that too small too? I'm going to try switching to the other amp in a little bit.

The guy at Best Buy told me to hook my ipod or something up to the rca wires and see if they work from the ipod? But I would need a connector piece.

And I've played with the gains and everything and still nothing. I'll probably need a new alt. and I hooked up the amps and subs and that's about it. It all worked with my Alpine amp so I'll switch back to that and see if that's the case still
