I'm a deployed soldier in Iraq right now. I will have a lot of money saved up for a sweet system when I get home. I have narrowed down the products I want, but need help deciding which to get. I want mainly sq, but I want it to hit as well. I maily need help on the comps and subs. The deck and amps will be alittle easier. But any suggestions would be nice. I have a pretty loose budget but I don't want to spend a whole lot. I want really good stuff without paying too much. These are within my budget. These are what I am interested in:

Please help me decide which of these would be best and maybe what amps to run to them.

I'd just go with the CDT HD's for the front stage..

On the subs, just flip a coin. The D2's could handle 500 or more watts. E12A's usually take about 900 or so...

out of what you posted, i'd say magnums and utopias. and like they said before, it'd be helpful to know the vehicle. also, we really appreciate everything you and your fellow servicemen are doing over there. i pray for you guys safety over there, and can appreciate what you do. thanks for protecting the tangibles and intangibles we take for granted.

get the eurosports man. And the D2's. the d2's can handle WELL over 600 watts and suposedly one of the best sounding subs on the market. Also capable of getting sickening loud. Make sure u have a really nice deck to run these things.

Well, I can't tell you what car I will be putting this all in yet, because I am planning on getting a new car when I get home as well. Right now I have a '92 Escort, and a system wouldn't sound good at all in that cheaply made car. I don't know exactly what I'm gonna get, but It'll be a well made car. I know it's hard for you guys to recomend subs when I can't tell you about my trunk, but I will be putting whatever subs I get into sealed enclosures, so that will give me more room than if I were gonna go ported. And as far as the components go, I will build kick panels for them, so I don't have to worry about the speaker compartments in the doors.

I would go with Focal Utopia's, but wait for the new one version to come out. The new Focal KP2's sound better than the old utopia version.

You can.. contact a military representative. I joined the army when I was 17, the recruiter needs to have a meeting with you and your parents, fill out the paperwork, etc. Don't jump into anything too soon though, little buddy. I'd say wait till you're 18, things can change greatly for you.

Was the army really hard? Like for your average 17 yr. old would it be to much??? Just wondering because I've been thinking about it ever since I dropped out of highschool.
