How important is the battery ground size and how big should it be for a 1500 rms setup? I am thinking at least 1 gauge or so.

My ground is 8 or 10 gauge, so i think i found out why my system was lacking output. Any help would be great.

ground needs to be same size as your power wire...

yes you need to make it larger.....but i don't think you'll see a major difference in output

i think so too, 8 gauge is really small.

i doubt you need 1.. 2 you could prolly get away with... maybe 4 if its really short but wouldnt really suggest it... like previous post said, try the big 3... the most important thing would be ground to chassis wire, that made a huge difference on all my cars
