i want to get 2 re audio mt's or 2 xxx iv'e read the xxx are good for lows but not so grate on highs i listen to mostly metal and don't think the double bass will hit very well on the xxx how do the mt's perform through the frequency range would they be better for the music listen to

I like the mt's. I have 4 installed and listen to every kind of music from 27 to 50hz no problem. Box tuned to 33hz. Also the power handling is superior to the xxx.

If u want sq those arnt the subs for you.

I think you got the mts and xxx mixed up, the xxx are sql subs they are decent on the highs more than the mt imo...

those subs are really close in performance.... Really close...

theres other choices then RE if you loud, lows and highs.

i have two RE SE's in my car right now and they have done well for me so i thought i would go with RE again when i retire the SE's this spring but i am open to suggestions if they are close to price to the RE's
