I am considering buying a 1997 hyundai tibron (2.7L v-6), and completly tricking it out inside and out. I am talking custom paint job, body kit, gutting interior. The car stock from what I have herd has about 150 hp. My goal is to crank the hp up to 300 without using nitrous oxide. Secondly, Getting it to 300hp, I would like to keep the budget below $5000.00. With that said, I am not sure if it would be best to stick with the stock engine and upgrade the hell out of it, or just throw a hole new engine in. Here is a list of things I plan to put into the car:

If you have not noticed yet, I have not listed any sort of turbo or super charger. So if any one knows were to get a good one that fits a 2.7L v-6, that would be great. Even though I have posted the 150 shot of nitorus, I still want to reach 300hp without it. Now adays this should not be to hard considering turbos and superchargers. I figure with the stuff listed, I will get around 200hp, add a charger of some sort and yazzii I should have atleast 300hp, tell me what ya think, suggestions would be great. Also, with the added stress of more hp, I assume I will be needing to piston heads, rods, etc.
