Hybrid 8" midbass drivers?

alright, i'm still searching for a midbass driver to pair up with some B&C 500 compression drivers. i came across some speakers made by HYBRID that look pretty good. i like how they can play free air and are not recommended at all for sealed encloseurs. anybody have any experience with HYBRID? Mr. Scott Buwalda designed these speakers himself. posted below is a link for their 8" mid-woofer. oh, this is gonna be a 2 way active system.

If/when I upgrade from my hertz space 8s and build out, I am going with these.

Goal is to go sub-less.

^ Thought you said your hertz pounded? Are you running 2-way or 3-way?

Back OT. The Hybrid Team are doing well for themselves and seem to come away winning nearly every comp they enter. I personally haven't heard them, but I imagine for their price they're probably pretty good. They seem to be a good middle-of-the-road product (price wise). Can't say anything about their functionality though.

Guess it was someone else on DIY. Someone there said that their Hertz killed for midbass duty.

My bad.
