Hushmat?

Anyone hear of hushmat? I want to mat my car with something good but not sure what to go with. I was told that hushmat is made from a guy that help make dynomat. I can get this stuff cheap and will be doing whole car. So just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with this. Thanks!

I have no idea about hushmat, but second skin damplifier is supposed to be very good and relatively cheap also.

Hush mat is a great product . Super easdy to install, but the damping results are not as good as Some others out there. Dynamat extreme is a better product in terms of performance, but Hushmat is bad *** in terms of install

Well I am getting some nasty rattles. So I need something to the extreme. I was there holding the hushmat and seemed very flimsy. I can see why it would be easy to install. But If it dosent damp well then have to go the dynomat why I guess. Thanks.

Go for second Skin Damplifier, great stuff.

Cascade is fantastic stuff, a lot like dynamat extreme, but butyl based rather than asphalt so it doesn't have such an odor when the car is hot. Made a HUGE difference in my Si.

Dynamat extreme is butyl based too. Regular dynamat is the asphalt based. Secon skin is also butyl based

Alright well what is the best for taking away the trunk rattle? I can get the hushmat fairly cheap but you guys are telling me that it wont work the well with damping. Should I just stick to the dynomat?

Second skin or raammat seems to be the choice around here. Raammat is less expensive and comes in a roll. The second sjin is more expensive and comes in sheets. I want to try ss personally

Ya, i hope to be able to get about 100sqft of second skin damplifier after i get paid next week.

Man I wonder how much a 100sqft would cost. I dont know excatly how much 100sqft would look like. But let me know. I want to do most of the main parts of the car. The trunk lid, the bottom of the trunk, most of the interior as well.

Hushmat is absolutely fantastic install stuff. I like it much better than Dynamat extreme. The stuff is easy to cut and stick on... just need to use a simple wood roller or your hands to get the bubbles out. The stuff is about 52mm thick if you need a comparison.
