i wish I could donate so much more, but this month is going to be a struggle as it is, but of course, If I can save even one life the nit's worth it for sure! HUGE props to anyone and everyone that have donated! You guys rock!

A family moved here to Dayton, Ohio and they were all on the news they talked about how its so much better here being away from all the violence and crime and how everybody treated them so well with welcoming arms. That was great. The ladies son plays for one of the local football teams and i think he starts at running back. Im glad to see they have a change of lifestyle. But my heart goes out to those who has lost members of their families and pray for those who are still in the struggle. LETS HAVE A MOMENT IN SILENCE

We just received this letter from our company CEO....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Colleagues:
I am proud to announce that during the matching donation program, approximately 7,700 employees gave $1.35 million to the Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund. With the double match, that means a total contribution of more than $4 million to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
When I announced the matching program, I received dozens of e-mails from employees – some of whom were directly impacted by Katrina. One of our colleagues, who was evacuated from New Orleans, wrote: “I am speechless and truly humbled by the support all of my colleagues have shown.” Many others wrote about family, friends or clients who were Katrina’s victims. For example, another colleague said: “I just want to express my profound gratitude for 'double-matching’ of Hurricane Katrina relief donations. As a Gulf Coast native, and with nearly all of my family and friends still there, I can tell you that needs are deep and probably beyond human comprehension. . . . My heartfelt thanks go to every employee who gives to relieve the monumental suffering caused by this storm.”
I want to add my own heartfelt thanks to all of you who gave so generously to this cause. Your donations make a world of difference for a lot of people.
Best regards,
As much as i think we should help these people and we should to an extant, i think they were Dumb Aces for staying there in the first place. Dont give me excuses like they had no money and they couldnt go anywhere. If they didnt spend there money on big rims and worthless rides they could of gone somewhere!
