good idea at work were going to have a casual dress down pass so if you pay like 20 towards relief ya dont have to dress up for work for a month, i work at a professional place, cant wear t shirts or anything have to wear dress clothes but a very very good idea denim //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

This is pretty serious guys. The majority of people in New Orleans do not have flood insurance. What you see on T.V., is what they've got, and that is about it. Schools are wrecked. Workplaces and businesses are gone. Not only that, but the city is requesting that people not return home for at least a week or so (I forget exactly how long). People are without power, work, schools, food, money, just about everything we all take for grantid.

what specificly are you looking to donate too? alot of places got hit by katrina. Alot of people forget the 1/2 billion of damage here in Miami. we still have 500,000 people with no power here and it hit us on Thursday

the last thing you would think is about miami... nothing compared to new orleans and etc.. happened to miami...we're talking about the most expensive hurricane in history that has hit, and it hit at its best in the gulf... and now its costing gas sparks to up to 30 cents cause of oil being shut down.

The gas prices really arent affecting me now, Only because there isnt a gas station around me that actually has gas. And yeah i would say that the red cross is the best aid group to send to simply because they arent bias towards one region, And DemonaL devistation is devistation no matter where it is the folks in miami are just as important as Us in South east LA.

I agree this is a very serious issue, not only in NO, but MS and AL got hit pretty hard too. I am willing to donate a percentage of my sales for the rest of the week towards the relief fund.

my point exactly everyone thinks nothing happened to miami, well your wrong. yeah Lousiana got hit hard but that doesnt mean Miami didnt get hit. we lost several lives down here too just cause it wasnt category 4 when it hit here doesnt mean it didnt cause alot of damage. and it isnt the worst hurricaneto hit, its the worst to hit the gulf coast lets not forget andrew was way worse than katrina and it hit the exact same spot in miami that got hit this time. By all means Louisiana needs help Im just saying dont forget it wasnt only Lousiana that got hit.
