I got off pretty lucky I only had damage to my car(which killed me since its my first new car and its ****ed now) and electricity and phone going off and on every other day. The area where I work got hit pretty hard alot of homes with big flood damage and wind damage.

my point exactly everyone thinks nothing happened to miami, well your wrong. yeah Lousiana got hit hard but that doesnt mean Miami didnt get hit. we lost several lives down here too just cause it wasnt category 4 when it hit here doesnt mean it didnt cause alot of damage. and it isnt the worst hurricaneto hit, its the worst to hit the gulf coast lets not forget andrew was way worse than katrina and it hit the exact same spot in miami that got hit this time. By all means Louisiana needs help Im just saying dont forget it wasnt only Lousiana that got hit.

Nobody's saying that Florida didn't get hit hard. But New Roleans and Mississippi definately got hit the worst. 80% of New Orleans is now under water. And that's a big ****ing town. There are bodies floating in the streets. Houses in Mississippi collapsed and a Casino split in two.

You know what would be cool, is if we get a company to donate an item, lets say a sub or something, raffle it off, and send the procedes to the tsunami..

Its much more realistic that we make 100+$ that way, instead of relying on everyone to do it independantly,and this way we can get more people to do it because like 5$ a ticket isnt too hard to spare when it is all going to a good cause, and we can maybe win something out of it as well.

i did donate, and i do live near miami, miami didnt get nothing, miami did loose 2 lives due to assholes... our fault? Miami did loose power but for what like 3 days... try being without it for 2 weeks a last yearwhen i used to live a lil up north in west palm when those 3 hurricanes hit...school closed down for 2 weeks, yeah they took almost all our holidays just to make it up, they even thought about us comming in on saturdays, but that didnt work due to religious issues...new orleans wont be 100% 4-6 weeks, and probaly wont have nothing left when it is done with...how long will power be back up in new orleans 3 weeks, 4? maybe 5... people in trailers didnt even get killed but the dumbass's that did i believe stepped in water with down powerlines...

i watched the news for about a good hour i couldnt beleive my eyes. Casino's have been moved there is 18 wheeler trailers all over hell. This cleanup is take way longer then 9/11 will there be a new orleans left after all this ? I doubt they can rebuild it all. Look at the apartment picture where all the debris is scartred thoughout. There is plenty more of that kind of stuff. I mean how are they gonna take car of all that
