Hunt for the ultimate shallow mount

Same ol story, I drive a Chevy truck reg cab. You already know. No space in these things. So I'm scoppin the market to find big bang with a shallow mount has to offer. Of course I'll have a ported box I'll tune to the sub. Really only got room for one behind the seat. Jus tryn to find out wats out there that has a real bang to it. Anyone heard the alpine type r's? They got the highest rms specs I've seen. But they're single 4 ohm. Anybody got any ideas.

Shallow mounts are poop, but I would get a Type R if had to get one...

Have a 15" bmf but with a 2cube box it takes up passenger floorboard. Need somthin behind the seat. Only got 7 inches back there at its widest spot. Shallow is the only way I can go. Ima build a 2cube box ported and that takes all my space.

Is you chevy truck an S10?

If not, then why are you looking into shallow subs?

You have plenty of room in full size single cabs for 2-8's. Hell, I do pairs of 8's behind the back seats in CREW CAB chevy's!!! Any that have far less space than reg-cabs.

I know I could fit 8's but I question how good they'll sound against a 12". but i could drop two 8's down to 2 ohms. Or find a good 12" dual 2 ohm.

Shallow mounts are terrible, that's all there is to it.
