if you remember when Phoenix Gold made that $22,000 amplifier in like 89-90 with lots of real gold internals
It was a one off that was mounted in the lobby of their corporate HQ. The model number was MPH-6300. The original "list" price was $99,999 but it went up to $120k before they finally quit listing it in the CSR and CA&E buyer's guides. "rated power was 75Wx6. Rated as stable into any load. I've seen pictures of the thing. It was about the size of a surfboard.

And FWIW, all the MS and MPS series (the gurus know what those stand for) had gold plated PC boards and internal buss bars.
