humming noise

when the deck is turned off, the amp remains on, because i chose not to use a remote turn on due to laziness, so therefore i use the signal sensing option. so when i have the deck off sometimes the bass amp makes this deep and loud humming noise. i thought it might be a loose ground or something. well i checked all wiring and found nothing wrong and i am now out of ideas. all ideas are greatly appreciated.

im guessing here... but are your rca and bat cables close together?

i was thinking its engine noise maybe?

only for about three inches in some loom connecting to the amp itself. on the amp, the input and the power posts are close together

turn down level on amp or get some high quality rca's

ran into an engine noise problem once a few years ago, replaced everything imaginable, even tried new components. new alternator, battery, power wire etc. Last thing we checked was the brand new crankin power rca's. Replaced with Stinger pro series rca's noise gone. Honeslty within two weeks the store changed from Crankin Power to Stinger wires and accessories.
