does it need to go to all of the rca's or only 1?

whichever pair of rca's you are using....i use paired speaker wire, one per connection

I don't see why not...i usually do each with it's own wire, but linked and then grounded should give the same result

anything that attaches to the case of the hu, as long as the case is grounded.....or you can ground to the hu's ground:fyi:
