HU single sub preamp output?

My HU has a single preamp output for the subwoofer but my JL 1000/1 amplifier has two inputs. What what do I need to get to adapt it? I bought rca cable but it has two plugs on each end.

Thanks guys. Is this how most head units are when it comes to subwoofer preamp. outputs? Or do most have two subwoofer preamps? Is there a dissadvantage to using a y adapter? I will be running two subwoofers off the mono amp. I can't imagine wanting to fade the power left to right so does it matter?

The number of pre-outs depends on the head unit you have. Some have none, some have multiples. The Y-splitter won't hurt anything.

it doesn't matter.

and mono is "not-stereo", so fading wouldn't make any difference regardless.
