Hu Problems! Neeed Help Immediately

Hey everyone,

Here's whats going on. I have an Alpine 7873 HU. I have the 2 fronts and 2 backs (6 1/2) wired directly to the HU. and everything is wired correctly. I just put it in a few weeks ago and all the wiring was done correctly. No heres the problem...today i was in my explorer taking out seats..hiding wiring under the carpet and what not....had the stereo on...and killed the battery...twice lol....after jumping my explorer the 2nd time...i went to go turn on the radio..and nothing...no sound coming at all. The HU is getting a signal..but no sound is coming out. Is it possible for me to have fried something in the HU? Whats the deal. Im lost....all the fuses seem to be okay.....confusion..someone please help me..any advice would be appreciated.

Take it out and reinstall it.

more than likley u grounded somthing out and blew up your intrernal amplifier on ure head unit..

tried it....still the same thing is happening..also right when i turn my car on..or the HU it makes a quick thump sound and thats it

Try a different deck in your car.....if it works, then yours is shot.

haha yeah no shit..i dont have a different deck to use lol and i dont exactly feel like going out and buying one..well i wish i could lol..my wallet wont let me
