hu in arm rest storage or 3sixty.2?

if you got the money, i take it over the 880prs. it can be integrated with any hu. you dont need to mount anything in the glove compartment. just keep the rockford in your trunk and you will be set. just remember that you need a pda to control it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.
thanks for the suggestion but i think i'm going to have to go with the hu because eventhough the 360 is a nice unit, it costs close to $800 with a pda and that is beyond my budget...

yea thats the problem with the 3sixty.2. you need a pda to control it. the 880prs should be enough for your processing needs.
thanks... you know any eqalizer that i can add on later that would benefit my set up the most? audio control etc...?

the 880prs has a 16 band graphic eq per side. that should be plenty imo. also you are running a passive setup right?
great!, and i notice that you are running a diyma 12, how does it sound? can you give me a comparisson of it's abilities to some well known drivers?

unfortunately i haven't installed it yet. its waiting, and waiting to be installed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. i should just throw in a prefab box i have and listen to it. lol.

hows the quality? how would that aspect of the woofer compare?

build quality is awesome. huge magnet. nice spider. real freaking heavy. npdang is having a promotion on that sub right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif. $165.

yeah because of the glue problem , where they can only handle up to 300 rms or the glue comes apart or somthing

not quite sure but it seems that it has been resolved. i forgot the reason but thats why npdang doesn't have that sticky on there anymore about the defect. i think i'll be fine since i'll be running a 500/1 on it.

also, i read your post about going active, i hear that the 880prs does that job fairly well so i was wondering could i maybe get a seas lotus rt25f tweeter and decent mids and do the crossover myself? how hard is it? and if i were to go to a shop, how much would they charge?

yea that would be fine. 880prs seems to be a great hu especially for the price. there is definately a learning curve but once you get passed that, its not so bad. just keep reading. do some research or something. the 880prs should have two modes: standard and advanced/pro mode. standard has your typical two way crossover. low pass the sub and high pass front/rear. in advanced/pro mode now it has a 3 way xover. low pass for sub, bandpass for mids and high pass for tweets. then you set the xovers accordingly to your ears. it takes a lot more time to tune than a passive setup. but its fun as you have complete control of each individual driver.
