HU in a jetta

i dunno what is the problem but i've putted 2 HU in my jetta 91 and these 2ones were beeing too hot and sometimes the radio stop... i think its because i dont have enough space and my car is too old... someone have a jetta in these years *89-92* or know whats the problem?

Make sure your ventalation holes arent covered. The head unit has to be able to breathe.
