HU help in a cherokee

I am putting an old cd player in my cousins jeep grand cherokee 1995. I took the stock HU out and there is not alot of space to fit all the wires....any suggestions? I put the new one in and there is no way I can get it all the way in.....Should I cut the wires from the hu shorter?

It's a tight fit, but I've always managed to get the head unit in with the wires. Bundle the wires with tape so they're not hanging all over the place, then just push them into a position where they're not in the way when you fit the radio in. Usually there's a little bit of room above the radio. Takes a little adjustment, but it's not too hard.

I own a 95 Grand cherokee. Just make sure all the wires are neat and tucked out of the way as best you can. I really had to push hard also to get it to snap in. Good Luck.
