hu doesnt give sound anymore?

so im playing music @ volume 33/35 w/ vol offset -8... after awhile, it cuts.no more music BUT all display are still on and working , when i turn off the HU and turn it back on it works. but after awhile, it redoes it....

wuts the deall here? is it my HU that is *****d up or my voltage drops too much so my amps goes in protection??

The easy way to find out would be to look at your amps after this occurs......is the protection light on?

Also, grab a DMM and measure the RCA leads from the HU...if it's the HU causing the lack of sound, there would be no or close to no voltage on the RCA's.

ok.

it is the short/low Ω on the c400.4 that turns on and off constaintly

and it does a three note when this occur on my speakers and sub... bip bip bip.. kind of.

i measured the rca, with the dc voltage, and it starts @ 5 and go down to 0.01 or 0, even when playing music... so i dont really understand how to measure the rca ...

plz help, anyone had this problem?
