does it matter if its a slot port or aero port and does it matter if its down firing or if its just facing forward..i know the box needs to be tuned super low like 15-20hz but i was just wondering those other things

What sub are you using? Sub can fire any direction "if" the sub is made to downfire. Some will sag if pointed down. Used to be a calculator on the old Adire site to figure it out...
