After hrs of researching I'm still stuck b/t the Onkyo and the HK...

How is the GUI on the Onkyo's?

UPDATE...

I deposited $700 in the ATM @ Bank of America on Mon...some how...they lost $400 of my deposit! It may take up to 10 days to get my money back. Needless to say, I'm EXTREMELY pissed at BOA...I will be taking all my funds out and switching banks...after I buy a receiver. So more time to research, so I can get more confused on what to get...

Out of everything you've listed, bang for the buck, try and find a NIB ONKYO 805. Of all the ones you listed, it would be my choice. As far as processing, features and setup, its been my fav. I picked one up on closeout at Circuit City for just under $500 months back.

The others are all good as well, just would be my personal preference.

Well, just bought the HK AVR-354 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Finally went and checked them out in person tonight. Unless the HK has lots of video problems...since the recent firmware update, I haven't heard many problems. I'll be the giving you guys a review soon, and if I don't like it I'll be getting a 706 or 805. I've had HTIBs for a while...so its not going to take much to be an improvement.

Fedex says it will be here on Tues. I got my speakers Fri, so I'm ready for it to get here. Hopefully by the weekend I'll have everything setup. I'm debating on whether to stick w/ 5.1 or do 7.1...

I got my center channel mounted and built some stands for my surrounds today. My receiver is supposed to be here tomorrow. We're actually supposed to get 3"-6" of snow...which is rare for this area. Hopefully, it won't keep them from delivering my HK.

I got my receiver yesterday, and will be getting some installation stuff today (subwoofer cable, speaker wires, banana plug, speaker pants). Hopefully, I'll get my TV off the wall tonite and get everything hooked up. I'm probably going to start a new thread for my review.

BTW...the receiver is a piece of art...my g/f loves the looks of it, so that makes it easier on me
