this is probably been asked 100s of times, but here goes again. LPF ans HPF settings, i search omline and find answers for settings them both to 80HZ to setting the LPF to 80HZ and the HPF to 100HZ or even 120HZ. im running three amps, one for door speakers, pioneer 6.5" and one for my two 8" JL audio subs. ive tried both settings but seem to go back to 100HZ for the HPF. my LPF is 80HZ.

LPF for your subs should be around 80hz in rare cases sometimes 100hz but most people usually don't like the sound. If your doors aren't deadened or the speakers are low quality you may prefer a higher HPF due to a limited amount of mid bass. All in all it boils down to what sounds good to you, not just some rule of thumb that you need to follow.

thats the feeling im getting for all the settings. get a basic setting and go from there. really it sounds good to me now. leave it alone and enjoy. thanks
