I have been looking for an eclipse sw8122.4 for almost a year now to replace the one I damaged last summer. I have searched forums, craigslist, and ebay. Today I just checked ebay again just to see what was on there today, and what do I find? A brand new still in the plastic never used sw8122. My eyes got big I got excited until I read the description. Its a **** dvc wtf? Im beginning to think there are no single coil 4 ohms out there I just got bad luck. I have to have a single 4 cuz I have 4 of them.

do you have two of them and only looking for replacement on one? Maybe contact TC sounds to see if they have one lying around that they're not using

I have 4 of them. I tore the aluminum where it meets tge surround. It still plays fine just looks really bad so I inverted that sub. I go to alot of car shows and cant have that being seen.

I just contacted the seller to ask about sub and he said its a dual 4 that could wired for 4,2,or 1. Now im no expert and correct me if im wrong but a dual 4 can only ne wired to either 2 or 8 correct?

You are correct. If you had (2) subs you could achieve a 1 or 4 ohm configuration.

why don't you just invert two? Symmetry is still there lol

if you invert two just make sure to change up the phasing lol
