2 JL Audio 10w0 to 2 10w3v2 a huge upgrade?

How much of an upgrade in sound are we talking here. Is it worth $150 that I could get the w3v2s? I've got an old school rockford fosgate power 800a2 powering them.

old school RF amps are beast.

I personally would go with something like a pair of Dcon 10's. They sound amazing and get loud, and are rated for 300w each.

Dcon's are rated for 300 rms and your 800a2 does an underrated 800w, so you could easily push the Dcon's to their limits and get their full potential. Dcon's are also cheaper, have better build quality, and have just an overall better sound to them

If you're going to get the JL's, I'd port them...you'll see a huge increase in loudness doing that.

I've heard porting them does make them louder but I have somewhat limited space. The box I have is perfect for my 4runner. Maybe I'll get some DCon's...I'll see if these w3's appease my appetite first.
