Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! I'm new to the site as well as audio systems. I know how to put plug in an aux cable or use Bluetooth from my phone. After that, I'm lost! Haha

I want to get a better audio system in my truck since I drive all day. And I want to dig into everything to learn more about audio systems and how they work instead of just saving up a lot of money for high install rates and have no idea how my better sound system works.

I already have an idea of what kind of set up I want, but I need to do some research about head units and all that!

So here is what I am thinking for a set up...

TMX Terminator TNE212D 12" subs plus Boss Audio R1100M Riot 1100-Watt Monoblock amp for the back of the truck

Pioneer TSSWX2502 10-Inch Shallow-Mount Pre-Loaded Enclosure Sub Woofer for behind the two front seats with another Boss R1100M amp for both of the shallow sub woofers

I haven't looked into the door speakers or tweeters yet. I'm trying to research what is all needed in a head unit. I want to build a small computer to handle all of that hooked up to an 802.11ac router like this one with a 4TB SSD media server hooked up on a gigabit ethernet port to the router.

I know it's out of the ordinary for a mobile audio set up, but I live on the road and think that this would be a fun project even if it fails miserably! haha

Feedback on the products or any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My advice is to skip the boss amplifers. I had a boss 3000 and it only produced 52 watts. Save the time and get an audiopipe 1500 and only use the mtx subs. Mixing sizes of subs can cause cancellation of sound.
