How would this work for rear fill?

I know...everyone is ant rear fill these days. I personally prefer it, especially in a larger vehicle such as the '04 Explorer this setup is going in. So far I have:

Head-unit: AVH-x4800BS

Amp: Fosgate R600X5

Fronts: JL C2650 Components

Sub: Kicker 8" CompRT (I know, everyone hates Kicker, but wanted a stealth install and this is one of the few shallow subs that would fit in the factory enclosure...plus I have been pleasantly surprised with it)

I am thinking for the rear fill picking up the matching JL C2 650cw mids - C2-650cw - Car Audio - Evolution® - C2 - Individual Components / Crossovers - JL Audio and then using these inline bandpass filters - Parts Express 800-5 kHz Band Pass 4 Ohm Crossover

How do you think that would work out?

Anyone have thoughts on this? I have some Kicker KS 6x8 Coax speakers back there now. Would they be just as good rear fill? Would I be better off going with the JL C2-650 Coax instead of just the mid woofer?

get something other than kicker for door speakers a lot of people tell me they're extremely harsh
That is kind of why I was thinking about changing out them out. I did not want their rumored harshness to overwhelm the front stage with the JL components.

im unfamiliar with 6x8 speakers, you would be better off getting a 6x8 to 6.5 adapter imo

jeff, you familiar with 6x8s?

Yeah, if I change the Kickers out I will be going with a JL 6.5". Just not sure if I should go with the Coax - C2-650x - Car Audio - Evolution® - C2 - Coaxial Systems - JL Audio or save ~$60 and just get the mid driver - C2-650cw - Car Audio - Evolution® - C2 - Individual Components / Crossovers - JL Audio or if I would be just as well off turning the rear gain down a bit and keeping the Kickers.

nope I'm not familiar with 6x8s Not much good choices to be honest. There's infinity coaxials that might be okay but thats most likely all. The 6x8 to 6.5 adapters is a good idea but before anything i'd just put everything on the amp first. He already has the kicker speakers, If his head unit has a fader, it should work fine if he fades to the front or just set the gains accordingly to match volume levels.

OP do you already notice anything horrible sounding with the speakers you currently have or do they sound okay? If they sound okay, just keep it and dont change it.
