how would 2 12 w6v2s sound in a ported box with 2.5 cubes each.. tuned to 35Hz?

the jl recommended volume is 1.5 cubes each tuned to 32 Hz..

i dont know much about ported boxes, so how would it sound? thanks.

They will get pretty loud....but they might lose control (sloppy?)

Why go with a bigger box than the JL spec? If you are looking for sheer output, go with different subs. You can get louder for cheaper. If you want fairly loud with good accuracy, JL spec boxes are usually right on for their subs. That and it will save you 2+ cf between the subs in enclosure size.

He asked how it would SOUND??? I say it would sound OK, but be pretty loud. Sealed is where these subs sound great. I would go sealed myself. With 600watts each......trust me......you will feel it as well.
