How would I wire these speakers

Hey there need a little help. Just bought these 2 new sw6200 subs for a $100

Anyways what would be the best way to wire these up, running a mbquart 1200.1d mono amp that will go 1x1200 w rms @1 ohm.

take a sub and run a wire from pos to pos and negative to negative. do the same for the other one. then take a pos from one sub and go to the other and the neg of one sub to the other. Then a pos from either sub to pos of amp and do the same for negative. That will give you a 1 ohm load

positives to positives, negatives to negatives

that'll be a 1 ohm load.

Thanks for the info. now when I wire it up like that I will not run to any problems in the future like the amp getting to hot and cutting out.
