see, now I need to know the dimensions of the box and how the port is laid out. If you have a taller port you are going to have a higher tune.

Well kind of yes. That question is like compounding the issue. 40 is close to 35, and 30 is close to 35, but 30 is nowhere NEAR 40.

well i dont no if this is a problem or not like i dont see y they made a huge differ in the vented enclosures between the d2 and d4 so i fig i would just go with the d2 specs (because there the same sub right just differ ohm's does taht matter at all????????) so i have a d4 but i want to do the d2 box unless u think there will be a big differ between haveing dual 4 ohms and dual 2ohms

Well yes, it kind of DOES matter. Many of the t/s are vastly different, so if you have the D4, then do the D4.

ok here's what im tryin to do im trying to get the best out of my sub i want decent sq, i would sacrifice a lil for better sq not much though i really want this sub to get as loud as possible though (like as loud as the sub will go and not go over a 1.5cu.ft box). and i DONT WANT TO TAKE UP MY WHOLE TRUNK
