How would I connect these terminals?

Hey guys... I have a set of pos/neg terminal plates installed in my new box, and I'm wondering how I would go about connecting the sub to them. The terminals are pretty freakin small, the blade connector is small and the hole in the middle looks like you could barely fit a needle inbetween it... I'm going to be hooking up 2 Fi Q 15's to these, and I went and bought a soldering iron and some solder just to be prepared.

Would I somehow need to modify these to accept a larger gauge blade terminal, or would 16/18ga be enough? Sorry for the kinda crappy pics but it's the only one I have right now, if need be I can get some more. Thanks

I was thinkin maybe solder on a larger wire, like a 12 ga, onto a smaller connector and attaching it that way?
