Buying one 15 inch of the Cerwin Vega VMAX VMAX-15DVC, so i will be creating a ported box with the help of some assistance from "Buckshot" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Here is the T/S Parameters and the recommended specs for ported:

Fs: 17 hz

Qts: .47

Qms: 9.80

Qes: .50

Vas: 7.1 cu ft/ 202 liters

Xmax: 20.3 mm

revc: 3.68 ohms/coil

rec ported box: 5.0 cu ft, 30-32 hz

We found that the dimensions that seems close is 16.5H X 30W x 25D and you get 5.814 Cubic feet.

The available space i got in my trunk is 38 in length x 30 inch width x 16.5-17 inch height.

With this setup and dimensions he came up with... will this sound good?

and i input the t/s parameters in that bcae1.com calculator and it recommended a sealed enclosure. But then with the airspace i got in my trunk, would you guys also think that for one 15" sub, wouldnt it be way better to have it in a ported?

Car = 1994 Nissan Pathfinder

thanks alot everyone.

seriously, i really don't know... maybe 30-32 hz??

i just know that the prediction of the box dimensions is 6.5H X 30W x 25D at 5.8 cubic feet. how do i know wats it tuned by looking at those dimensions?
