How to wire this

Hello,

I have one of those bazooka that is double voice coil 100 watts, the built in amp is not working so i bought a boss CE502 500 watts mono block and can also be bridged.

I opened the bazooka and pulled the 4 cables out and connected it to the mono block bridge mode

Plus on plus minus on mines.

The problem now is that the amp keeps tripping (going into protection mode) after a song or so .

Any reason why this is happening ?

Will the woofer play normal is i just connect it to the speaker outpust of the amp , like connecting one voice coil to the speaker connection and so the other ?

if it read that sht correctly, your impedance is possible too low for the amp to handle bridged mode?

what voice coil config is that bazooka sub?

If i'm right the bazooka is 2 ohm, i have the EL series bazooka .

Dual 2 ohm i guess..

not "i guess". dual and single makes a world of difference.

well that amp can only handle a 4 ohm load bridged

series the sub and wire @ 4 ohms

Hook the neg from one side of the sub to the pos on the other side of the sub then the neg and pos that are left hook to the amp..

Your probley wiring to 1 ohm right now and your amp cant take it

ok i just measured the coil and each coil measures 2.45 ohm

so can i still connect it like frogcase2002 ?

Yes.. needs to be in series... you had it running parallel
