How to wire switch to turn on my amp.

I just put it inline with my remote wire....

Mine was a light up switch so it had 3 connections, 12V, ACC and GND

remote wire from deck to the 12V

Remote wire from amp to ACC

than just a ground wire to GND

its a pain in the ***. believe me. i did it for duel amps in my car. its not extremly hard just finding a good place for them is a *****, but its not like an "oh, that was easy" type of thing

The process is very simple...finding a place to mount the switch that suits you thats a little more complicated.

What you need to do is access the remote wire coming out of the back of your hu (blue w/white stripe or light blue) from that connect a wire and run it to one bank of your switch. Connect another piece of wire to the other bank of your switch and run this wire to the remote terminal on your amp. That's it! (If you are using a toggle switch that lights up then you will have to run a ground wire, just attach it to the chassis somewhere close, there will be a terminal on the switch for a ground wire)
