how to wire 2 dvc to 1 ohm in a ported box

actually the bx 1605d is a mono amp 1600wrmsx1@1ohm and i looked at the hifonics website and it appears to have 2 sets of connections on it. so just wire each sub to 2 ohms then connect each sub to each connection=1 ohm

OK so lets look at this.
2, DVC 4ohm drivers.

R=(1/r)+(1/r)+(1/r)+(1/r)

So (4^-1)(4^-1)(4^-1)(4^-1)

=1

I actually did the calculations wrong, but it is still 1ohm.

1/R=(4^-1)+(4^-1)

1/R=.5

1/.5=2

1/R=(2^-1)+(2^-1)

1/R=1

1/1=1

im talking in 2 channel amps...............4 ohm mono output...same WATTAGE as 2 ohm stereo....2 ohm mono output...same WATTAGE as 1 ohm stereo

Dude, wtf are you talking about? Are you still on the thing about it putting out the same ammount of power @ 1ohm AND 2ohm? Does the amp have a regulated power supply?

Well we have determined that it is not a multi channel amplifier.

just look it over.. it will show you how to wire it up to 1 ohm properly..

well since he said that his subs are sealed off from each other its just as simple to hook each sub to its own connection end result=teh same ting.
