decent for short term use, but electrical tape (especially cheaper varieties) does not hold up well under heat or cold nearly as well as heat shrink or liquid electrical tape.i always just liked twisting and elec tape lol dont have to ever cut any wires
There ya go. I use wire nuts w/o problems in a 154db daily driver. DD recommends wire nuts. I have yet to hear of anyone's wire nuts 'falling off'. (that sounds kinda funny) I have direct connect subs, the OP may not. Wire nuts allow you to change wiring w/o cutting though.Nooo, don't use wire nuts. They can come loose with vibration. Do yourself a favor and get some crimp butt connectors (can be purchased cheap at Fleet Farm). Or solder the wires together and heat shrink or liquid electrical tape over the connection. Wire nuts are for home electrical, not mobile. Just my opinion though.
Haha, that does sound funny. To each their own. I just like to make my stuff as clean as possible and not skimp on the little details. I like to have peace of mind. There ya go. not possible with the d2.What about wiring a single dual 2 ohm FI into 2 ohm? The only other coil option FI has is dual 1 ohm....
