hi guys and girls all over the world...

i have found a old dmm meter(not digital) and want to know how to use this properly..

my system is 500rms at 4ohm which = to about 44.7 volts i belive..

now to check the volts do set the dmm to ACV 10, 50, 250 or 500?

i also got on the meter OHM, DCV, ACV, and DCV which ones will i need to use to check the correct gains..thanks

and to check the voltage do i just simply place the red to the possitive on the amp and negative to the negative? where the speaker wires connect the the amp? i searching but did not say how to use this meter
