my bad. how would I use this multimeter? I do have the input cables by the way, i just disconnected themYeah man, much easier... But to use that one you would need the positive and negative input cables for it, and it would just be easier to buy a new DMM.

are you sure? because the dial turns from 10, to 50, to 250.You would adjust it until you reached 2.5 on the red numbers.
okay.... so i decided to test a new 9V D battery. I put it on 10V DC, and the dial turns to the black 20 (or red 4)... This doesnt seem right
