How to tune a Kenwood

So I just made the first purchase of my build and it's the Kenwood BT852HD. She arrives in a couple days from sonic, and I was wondering how to tune it correctly. Also if you have any install tips throw em at me because this is my first install, but it looks easy as **** with butt connectors and the harnesses.

Also is it worth it to install the mic for bt calling? It kinda seems like a pain in the *** to route and i cant even figure out where to put it so i cant see the wire.
