How to tell if OS is 32 or 64 bit....

Any way to do this by looking at the discs?

Long story short, friend of mine needs a 64bit OS, and i have a copy of windows XP sitting here. I dont know if its 32 or 64 bit though.

pretty sure it would say on it 64 bit if it was

ps you can install 32 bit os on a 64 bit machine, but not vice versa

put that bish in the cd drive. if its a legit copy of the disc from MS, id assume its 32bit unless it says 64 on the disc.

oh yea , I think XP Pro was the only version of XP that was 64bit
